Dove Computer Solutions were invited to bid for the work of upgrading the peer to peer network of 5 PCs in a small, but busy office. We successfully won the bid by working with the client in determining what was required of their IT infrastructure upgrade.
A Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 was installed, along with a new switch, cabling, UPS and two Windows XP Pro workstations. Sage Accounts and Payroll were installed on the two new workstations and networked together, along with a backup schedule for the Sage data. All the printers and workstations were networked in a client/server infrastructure, with full access to emails and shared calendars/mailboxes within the organisation.
Training was provided to the client on how to logon, access shared data on the server, use Outlook, access their workstations from home and browse their emails while on the road with their laptops.
Dove Computer Solutions completed the project on time, with minimum disruption to the client and within the limited budgetry confines stipulated by the client.
Dove Computer Solutions provide ongoing support to this client via remote access and occasionally onsite support when required.
We also provide a daily server support service to proactively monitor the SBS2003 serve r so it can be dealt with before any faults occur.
