I.T Engineer
You will be working in a team of engineers providing first and second level telephone, remote and onsite support for our clients located across the UK.
It is essential that you are professional, polite and have a first class telephone manner and a belief in the importance of delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
IT Skills
• At least MCP in Windows 2003/SBS Server
• Experience in Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server or higher
• PC & Printer networking, maintenance and support
• Setup/Migration and troubleshooting of Windows Small Business Server 2003 and above
• Network troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Internet connectivity, ADSL router setup and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of Windows XP/Vista/7
• Working knowledge of Symantec backup software and remote backup systems
• Working knowledge of Network anti-virus solutions including deployment and management
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook 2003 and above
Communication Skills
• Excellent telephone manner as the help desk is the first point of contact with our clients
• Ability to prioritise and have good time management skills
• Proven problem solving and diagnostic skills.
Other Requirements
• At least one year's experience working in a similar position in a UK IT services company
• Must have own car and reside within a reasonable commuting distance from our office in Ashbourne, Derbyshire
